Your privacy, kept simple.

What we collect when you visit Gnolex or get in touch, why we collect it, and how you stay in control.

Only what we need

We collect the details you choose to send us, plus basic visit statistics that help us improve the site.

Never sold

We don't sell your data, and we don't run advertising trackers on this website.

You're in control

Ask us at any time to see, correct or delete what we hold about you — we'll take care of it.

01Who we are

Gnolex is a software studio that designs and builds websites, web and mobile applications, Windows software, workflow automation and AI integrations. This policy explains how we handle personal information on this website. When we say “we”, “us” or “our”, we mean Gnolex.

02What we collect

Information you give us

When you send a quote request, a contact message or a booking request, we receive what you enter in the form:

  • your name, email address and, if you add them, your phone number and company;
  • details about your project — the service you're interested in, budget, timeline, requirements and your message;
  • anything you write to us by email or WhatsApp.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, we keep simple statistics about visits so we can see what's useful and fix what isn't. This includes the pages you view, how long you stay and how far you scroll, the page or campaign that brought you here, your device type, browser, operating system, screen size and language, and your IP address together with the approximate location (country and city) it indicates. These statistics are collected by our own website — not by an advertising network.

03How we use it

  • To reply to your request, prepare quotes and proposals, and schedule calls.
  • To send you a confirmation of what you submitted and to keep you updated about your project.
  • To deliver, support and improve the work we do for you.
  • To understand how the website is used and make it better.
  • To keep the website secure and prevent spam or misuse.

We don't use your information for automated decisions about you, and we don't add you to marketing lists without asking.

04Who we share it with

We don't sell or rent personal information. We only share it with the services we rely on to run the website, and only as far as they need it:

  • Hosting and email — our website, database and email are hosted by Hostinger.
  • Fonts, icons and images — some pages load fonts from Google Fonts, icon and style libraries from public content networks, and a few images from Unsplash. When your browser fetches these files, those providers receive standard technical information such as your IP address.
  • WhatsApp and social networks — if you choose to message us on WhatsApp or follow a link to our social profiles, that service's own privacy policy applies.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

05Cookies & local storage

We use a small number of cookies that the website needs to work properly:

  • a session cookie that keeps the site working as you move between pages and submit forms;
  • a security cookie (XSRF-TOKEN) that protects forms against forged submissions;
  • a visit cookie that lets our statistics count one visit instead of many page views.

Your browser may also store a small note so that, for example, a message you've dismissed isn't shown again. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work, although forms may ask you to try again.

06How long we keep it

We keep the details you send us for as long as we need them to answer you, carry out and support a project, and meet our legal and accounting obligations. Visit statistics are kept for a limited time. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.

07Keeping it safe

The website is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, access to our systems is limited to the people who need it, and we keep our software up to date. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to protect your information.

08Your choices

You can ask us at any time to:

  • tell you what personal information we hold about you and send you a copy;
  • correct anything that's inaccurate or out of date;
  • delete your information, or stop using it for a particular purpose.

Just write to us using the details below — we'll reply as quickly as we can. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.

09Children

This website is meant for businesses and adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 16. If you believe a child has sent us their details, please contact us and we'll delete them.

10Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our website or services change. The date at the top of this page always shows the latest version.
