Alemad Cars — Car Rental & Sales Website

Overview

Alemad Cars is a car rental and sales business on the Mezzeh Autostrade in Damascus, Syria. It also runs a delivery service between Syrian and Lebanese cities. We built it a fully Arabic, right-to-left website that brings its rental fleet and its cars for sale into one browsable inventory. Visitors can filter cars, open a detailed page for each one, and send a rental, purchase or delivery request straight to the team on WhatsApp.

What we built

• Cinematic landing hero: a dark, full-screen opening over a studio shot of a black sports car, with the headline "اكتشف سيارة أحلامك" ("Discover your dream car") and three large entry tiles for Rent, Requests and Buy.
• Rental and sales showcases: separate home page sections for cars available to rent and cars for sale, each with a live count and a link to the full list. Cards show the photo, model, category, year, transmission, fuel, seats and colour, key features as tags, and "For rent" or "Featured" badges. Sale cards also show the asking price in US dollars.
• Filterable inventory: a dedicated cars page with a sidebar that filters by listing type (sale or rent), category (sedan, SUV, luxury, economy, sports, minivan), brand, year, transmission and fuel type. It also has a keyword search and a result counter.
• Car detail pages: a photo slider with thumbnails, breadcrumbs, a specifications grid (year, colour, transmission, fuel, mileage, seats), a full list of features, a rent or enquire button, direct phone and WhatsApp contact, a share button and a "Similar cars" carousel.
• Quick rental request: a pop-up form, pre-filled with the chosen car. Customers enter their name and phone, choose a rental period (1, 3, 7, 14 or 30 days, or other), a city, and whether to collect the car or have it delivered. They can add a start date and optional extras: a private driver, full insurance, in-city delivery, a child seat or prepaid GPS. The request is sent on WhatsApp.
• Purchase enquiries: every car for sale has a "Purchase enquiry" button that opens a WhatsApp conversation about that specific car.
• Syria–Lebanon delivery service: a dedicated section with a live-style request card showing pickup and drop-off points and Standard, Urgent or Scheduled options. It opens a delivery form with sender details, both locations, delivery type, pickup time and a description of the shipment, also sent through WhatsApp.
• Supporting content: animated stat counters, a featured-cars carousel, a grid of add-on services, a "Why choose us" block, a customer testimonials carousel and a closing call to action.
• Contact footer: quick links, phone, email, address, opening hours (Saturday to Thursday), a WhatsApp button and an embedded map.

Design approach

The site uses a near-black canvas with a vivid orange accent taken from the Alemad Cars logo. Orange appears in the gradient buttons, glowing badges, shimmering headline text and a faint grid behind the content. Arabic type is set in Tajawal throughout, with heavy weights for headlines and light weights for supporting text. Real photos of the cars sit inside dark cards with rounded corners, so the vehicles stay the focus. The layout is right-to-left from the start and built for phones first: the hero tiles stack full width, the inventory becomes a single column of cards, and the rental form opens as a full-height sheet.

• Laravel (PHP 8.3) backend, with a database-driven car inventory and individual car pages
• Tailwind CSS with a custom orange palette; Font Awesome icons and the Tajawal font from Google Fonts
• Swiper carousels for featured cars, testimonials and detail-page galleries; AOS scroll animations
• Arabic RTL layout (lang="ar" dir="rtl"), responsive from phone to desktop
• Rental, purchase and delivery requests handed off through pre-filled WhatsApp deep links, with CSRF-protected forms
