Overview
Cham Gota Seeds (بذور غوطة الشام) is a seed company based in Damascus, Syria. It supplies vegetable, flower, bulb, field-crop and fodder seeds. Gnolex designed and built its website: an Arabic-first, right-to-left catalogue with an English version. It serves two kinds of customer. Companies and distributors can request a commercial quote, and individual growers can place a retail order.
What we built
- Brand-led home page: a full-width hero slider with three slides. Each slide carries the company's line "طبيعي وعضوي" ("natural and organic") and buttons to the seed list and the order forms. Below it are a stats band, a category grid, an about section, a "Why choose us" block and a contact call to action.
- Illustrated category grid: twelve product categories, each with its own illustrated basket artwork: vegetables, leafy vegetables, cucurbits, legumes, onion & garlic, root vegetables, field crops, ornamental bulbs, flower seeds, lawn grasses and fodder seeds. Every card links to that category's product listing.
- Product catalogue: a paginated listing of more than 250 products. A sidebar lets visitors search, filter by category and filter by sales type (B2B or B2C). Each product card shows the seed-packet photo, the category, B2B/B2C badges and the country of origin.
- Product pages: each product has a breadcrumb trail, a large packet image, its origin and brand, and related products from the same category. Two buttons start a commercial or an individual order with that product already filled in.
- B2B quote requests: a three-step form for companies. It asks for the contact and company details (registration number, website, delivery port, payment method), then the order lines (product, quantity, unit and specifications, with an "add another product" option), then notes.
- B2C orders: a matching retail form, styled in the brand's earth-brown, for personal details, delivery address, order lines and notes.
- "We serve everyone" section: side-by-side B2B and B2C cards on the home page that explain each channel and link to the right form.
- Customer accounts: registration and login, plus an Arabic/English language switch in the header.
- Company pages: an about page with the company's mission, vision and values, an agents (distributor network) page, and a contact page with a message form, phone, email and address.
- Rich footer: quick links, every product category as a chip, and contact details.
Design approach
The palette pairs a fresh leaf green with warm earth browns on a soft cream background, which matches the company's agricultural identity. Green marks the B2B path and brown marks the B2C path, and the colours are used the same way on buttons, badges and form headers across the site. Headlines are set in Cairo, a typeface built for Arabic, with bold display weights. Cards are rounded and lightly shadowed, and sections fade up into view as visitors scroll. The layout is right-to-left throughout. On phones the category grid becomes a single column, the catalogue filters sit above the product list, and the header folds into a menu.
Technology
- Laravel backend with Blade templates and a CMS for products, categories, packages and orders
- Tailwind CSS with a custom green, earth and cream theme
- Alpine.js for the hero slider, dropdown navigation, mobile menu and dynamic order forms
- AOS scroll animations; Google Fonts (Cairo and Poppins)
- Arabic RTL layout (
lang="ar" dir="rtl") with an English version, responsive from phone to desktop - Order forms protected with CSRF tokens, and product links that carry the selected product into the order
