Overview.
Overview
Finest 17 is a hypermarket in Sharjah, UAE, at Sheikha Maryam Bint Ghanem Tower on Al Taawun Street. It sells fresh produce, meat, seafood, dairy, bakery, pantry staples and more, and offers free home delivery. Gnolex designed and built its website as a storefront for that service. The site presents the store's range and explains how delivery works, and nearly every call to action opens a WhatsApp chat so customers can order in one tap.
What we built
- Info bar and sticky header: a navy top bar with the store address, email, phone number, links to Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram and Google Maps, and an English / Arabic language selector. Below it, a sticky header with the bilingual Finest 17 logo, the navigation, a search toggle and a green "Free Home Delivery" button.
- Hero: a bold "Discover Excellence, Shop with Confidence" headline set against orange and blue hexagon graphics, a "Home Delivery" button that opens WhatsApp, and a branded store image.
- Brand strip and "What we do": a row of logos from stocked brands, then an introduction to the store with a photo collage and two highlights: free home delivery, and fresh, healthy products.
- Product categories: twelve illustrated category cards: Coffee and Tea, Dry Food, Fresh Seafood, Fresh Meat, Milk and Dairy, Fresh Juice and Smoothies, Nuts and Snacks, Bread and Bakery, Fresh Fruit, Fresh Vegetables, Chocolate and Frozen Food. Each card has its own WhatsApp button that opens with a prefilled "I Need to Order" message.
- Delivery process: a four-step timeline with icons, linked by a dashed path. It covers customer orders (by WhatsApp, landline or phone), the preparation team, the delivery team's quality check, and payment by card or cash on delivery.
- Store sections carousel: a sliding photo gallery of the store's departments, including bakery, chocolate, coffee and tea, and fresh vegetables.
- Supporting sections: a video block with animated progress bars, an animated counter strip with store figures, a contact form for complaints and enquiries with a "Call any time" phone link, a customer testimonials carousel, and a closing banner with "Free Home Delivery" and "Our Location" buttons.
- Contact page: cards for email, phone and address, a contact form, and an embedded Google Map of the store.
Design approach
The design pairs deep navy and a strong grocery green with orange and blue accents from the hexagon motif. Headlines are bold and tightly set, while body text is lighter and easy to read. Content sits on white and very pale lavender sections, with clean cards and solid green buttons, so the category illustrations and food photography stand out. On phones, the layout collapses to a single column: the hero stacks above the store image, the category cards run full width, and the delivery steps read top to bottom, with the WhatsApp actions always close at hand.
